A new mixed-use building with residential and retail space is proposed for the well-known Racecourse Road in the affluent suburb of Ascot.
Designed to reinvigorate the suburb, the project will replace an existing commercial building on the 1,250sq m site at 77 Racecourse Road, that used to be home to Woolworths and most recently has been tenanted by a grocery / convenience store, pharmacist, and liquor store.
The four-storey building will include 30 luxury apartments as well as retail tenancies on the ground floor, with future uses including a food and drink outlet, indoor sport and recreation, healthcare services, shops and offices. It will have 120 car parks.
The project is designed to reinvigorate Racecourse Road in Ascot, with the retail space providing activation to the street.
