A new childcare centre is proposed for the Ipswich region, west of Brisbane.
The development application for the centre, to be located at 29 Mining Street in Bundamba, specifies that the childcare centre would be part one, part two-storeys, with a gross floor area of 430sq m on the 2,044sq m site.
It would cater for 130 children, with six indoor play areas and 37 car parks, and would operate from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
An existing pre-1947 building on the site, which sits on the corner of Mining Street and Creek Street, would be retained to facilitate the development.
If it goes ahead, the development would fulfil the need for another childcare centre in the growing area.
