A development application has been lodged for a seven-level hotel to be built on top of the existing Bluewater Square Shopping Centre in Redcliffe, in the Moreton Bay region north of Brisbane.
The proposal for the shopping centre at 20 Anzac Avenue is for a hotel with 142 rooms, a rooftop restaurant, bar and function areas, along with a swimming pool.
It would be situated on the corner of Anzac Avenue and Sutton Street, and would provide water views to Moreton Island.
Open 7am to 12am, 7 days a week, the hotel would be open to both guests and the public, providing beneficial amenity for the surrounding area.
