A development application has been lodged for a nine-storey building in Chermside providing health care services, as well as offices and retail.
The building would replace an existing office building on the site at 690 – 706 Gympie Road, 11-15 Wallace Street and 10 Norman Drive, Chermside, close to Westfield Chermside and the Prince Charles Hospital.
It would have ground level activation including retail and outdoor dining, while the upper levels would have both health care facilities and offices. The proposal also provides for 182 car spaces plus 20 motorbike spaces and 28 bicycle spaces, with a total of 6,940sq m of gross floor area for the development.
If it goes ahead, the development will complement existing amenity in the area, and be easily accessed due to its proximity to similar amenity and Westfield Chermside.
