A childcare centre catering for 101 children is proposed for a corner site in Holland Park West, in Brisbane’s inner south.
The 1,803sq m site, which sits on the corner of Crown Street and Walter Street, used to be home to a Catholic convent, which would be demolished to make way for the new development.
The single-storey childcare centre proposed for the site would be 778sq m, and include two large outdoor play areas, six activity rooms and 22 car parks
It would provide greater amenity in an area that is said to be currently undersupplied for childcare.
