A three-storey childcare centre is proposed for the main road in Sinnamon Park.
The development at 675 Seventeen Mile Rocks Road would see an existing heritage church dating back to 1888 partially demolished and renovated to become part of the new childcare centre on the 1012sq m site.
The 455sq m childcare centre would have up to 72 places, 14 car parks and would operate between 6.30am and 7pm Monday to Friday.
There are two other childcare centres within 750 metres of the proposed development, but the development application states that those centres don’t have further capacity or vacancy to support additional places, hence this centre would cater for demand.
