Two fast food outlets are set to open in Coorparoo after a development application by Collins Food was approved for a site at 208 Old Cleveland Road.

A KFC and Taco Bell will occupy the site, with a combined gross floor area of 400sq m, with KFC being 225sq m and Taco Bell 175sq m. The development will also have 21 car parks.

The site used to be home to Coorparoo Central, which had a mix of shops and food and beverage outlets, until it was demolished in 2018 after a fire. The site is currently vacant except for an existing undercroft car park, which will be removed and filled.

The development will provide more amenity for residents on a previously underused site.
