A $15 million redevelopment of Calamvale shopping centre, at 678 Compton Road, is planned.
The project will fill the 7000sq m vacant space left by Big W, which moved out of the centre last year.
The new plan will see the space split into 10 tenancies, six of which will be food and beverage, in a laneway, while the other four will be retail stores.
The redevelopment will revitalise the centre and with improved amenity, will help Calamvale draw more people in. The project is expected to be completed by Christmas this year.
