A development application has been lodged for a new childcare centre at 198 McCullough Street in Sunnybank, which will also have frontage to Yamal Street.

The proposal is for a two-storey building with 821sq m of gross floor area and three large outdoor play areas to cater for 115 children. The development will also provide for 23 car parks in an under croft car parking area.

The 1,610sq m site is currently vacant with the existing buildings demolished to make way for redevelopment.

This development would benefit the local community by providing an in-demand service in the local area, adding to the suburb’s appeal in this area.
