A development application has been lodged for a service station and fast food outlet in Belmont, in Brisbane’s East.
The development would be located at 8 London Road, on the corner of London Road and Cross Street.
It would include a fuel canopy area, shop and facilities, a workshop and mechanical bay, and a drive-through food and drink outlet, as well as 39 parking spaces.
It would be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
An existing home and ancillary structures on the 19,132sq m site would be removed to make way for the development.
Being situated near the Gateway Motorway, the intention is for the development to service both local traffic and people passing by, providing a service to meet growing demand in the area.
