A proposal to create an integrated arts village at Yeronga, in Brisbane’s inner south, has been given the go ahead by Brisbane City Council.
The project will see the 34,000sq m site of the former Taubmans paint factory at 115 Hyde Road transformed, with uses including performance, exhibition, food, retail, and residential uses.
The staged project, situated around 8km from the Brisbane CBD, will see the construction of buildings ranging from four to eight storeys, including five residential buildings.
This will not only create greater amenity, but more homes in the near-city suburb.
