A major $1 billion mixed-use development is proposed for Toowong, in inner Brisbane, spanning a 14,126sq m site.
The plan is for the project, to be known as Toowong Central, to consist of three towers ranging from 49 to 48 storeys, with the precinct to incorporate residential apartments, retail space, office space and a network of public plazas.
The new landmark precinct would consolidate multiple sites bound by Sherwood Road, Jephson Street and High Street.
If it goes ahead it would revitalise this inner city suburb and create major new amenity in the area.
