A $180m hotel and lifestyle hub has been given the green light at North Lakes.
The 25,000sq m North Lakes Town Centre project, to be undertaken by Comiskey Group, which is behind the likes of the Eatons Hill Hotel and Sandstone Point Hotel, will involve a nine-storey, 144-room five-star hotel and dining and entertainment precinct including a 2,000sq m signature Comiskey Group hospitality venue.
Dubbed a mini James Street, it will occupy a 1.72 hectare site in North Lakes, on which work is expected to start soon.
The project is designed to be somewhere people want to spend time, and will new amenity will benefit residents in the surrounding area.
