An extension to the Lions Richlands Football Club at Richlands is proposed, with a development application having been lodged for the project.
The extension for the club, which is situated at 133-139 Pine Road, Richlands, would involve extensions to the ground floor and basement levels to add 1,315sqm of gross floor area.
It will see the creation of improved spaces for administration, entertainment and member amenities across the circa 50,000sq m site, including a new boardroom and upgrades to the gaming area and lounge facilities.
The application is Stage 2 of a revamp for the club. Stage 1 involved an extension on the eastern side, modifications in the club layout, a new entry and drop off area and new two-storey car parking.
Stage 3 will involve new Club extension on the northern side with reconfiguration of the car parking and driveways.
The project is designed to enhance facilities to benefit the broader community.
