A new undercover market is expected to open in Brisbane’s north by March next year.
Called Hamilton Markets, the venture will be situated at 5 Hercules Street in Hamilton, in Brisbane’s urban renewal precinct of Northshore Hamilton.
The markets, which are said to be modelled off Melbourne’s well-known Queen Victoria Market, are expected to have a regular fresh food market, as well as dedicated spaces for artisan food producers, hot food vendors and beverage traders, as well as community event programming including cooking demos, seasonal festivals, and local entertainment.
It will operate five days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday.
Expressions of interest are currently being sought from potential store holders.
