An 18-storey A-grade office tower could be built in Fortitude Valley, just 250 metres from the popular James Street.
The $250 million commercial building at 88 Robertson Street is planned for a 2000sq m site which used to be the home of KC Dry Cleaning.
The 16,000sq m tower is proposed to have a rooftop restaurant, ground floor café, al fresco winter rooms and end-of-trip facilities.
The project is designed to set a new standard for commercial office space in Brisbane, with the goal of becoming the city’s best office building outside the CBD and completing the rejuvenation of the James Street precinct.
If it goes ahead, the tower could start construction in September, with completion scheduled for 2027.
