Minor extensions to St Patrick’s College at Shorncliffe are proposed to address staffing and student needs, and improve the functioning of the existing educational establishment.

A development application has been lodged for the extensions for the school at 60 Park Parade, primarily for two existing two-storey buildings, which will result in a new student office and a deck.

Specifically, the proposal seeks to infill a covered area at the ground level to provide a new student office, with a sick bay, reception and meetings rooms. The western side of the O’Connor Building will be provided with a new deck, to provide access between levels, bag racks and outdoor seating.

The extensions will result in a marginal increase to gross floor area for the school, which sits on a 20,840sqm site.
