Buyers Agent Brisbane Buyer Insights – What’s happening in Clayfield – Supermarket expansion to improve facilities for locals

A development application has been submitted to expand the Harris Farm Markets tenancy in Clayfield.

The tenancy is part of a shopping centre on a 3,300sq m site at 823 Sandgate Road with other small retail tenancies comprising a butcher, seafood market, Brumby’s and BWS.

Harris Farm Markets moved into the Clayfield store late last year and wants to extend and reconfigure it to increase functionality for staff and customers, to improve facilities for Clayfield locals.

If it goes ahead, the development would increase the gross floor area of the shopping complex to 1,663sq m, up from 1,285sq m, with an increase of 375sq m.
